Acrylic on paper

The acrylic paints laid thickly around my palette invite me to dip my knife into each colour and bounce it off the paper; the vibrations of the knife exploding the colours out from the centre in shards replicating the shape of the blade of the knife. Each stroke of the knife being quickly lifted away to draw the paint up from the surface and mix it with the mark beside it.
